Job Description
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to drive new customer acquisition for our multilingual AI training solution “BeTrained.”
You will engage with leads generated by marketing via phone, email, and online meeting tools—identifying needs, setting appointments, and passing opportunities to the field sales team. As part of the sales team, you will help propose solutions to customer challenges and contribute to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial outreach to leads generated through marketing campaigns
- Identify customer needs and challenges, and organize findings
- Schedule and hand off qualified meetings to the field sales team
- Manage prospects and track progress using Salesforce CRM
- Propose improvements to marketing strategies, outreach methods, and sales scripts
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B inside sales or corporate sales
- Strong communication skills via phone and online meetings
- Motivation to learn new tools and services
Preferred:
- Experience selling SaaS or other intangible solutions
- Sales experience in startups or new business development
- Business-level proficiency in English or another foreign language
- Interest in AI and digital transformation (DX)
- Comfortable communicating via business chat tools (e.g., Slack)

- Positive, proactive communicator who can engage both internally and externally (service is pre-PMF)
- Strong with numbers and committed to achieving KPIs
- Team player with a strong sense of speed and collaboration
Employment Details
- Location: Nationwide (remote work available; Tokyo office available for those who prefer in-person)
Occasional overnight travel to nearby prefectures may be required depending on clients
- Working Hours: Flexible (no core time, super flex system)
- Employment Type: Full-time (6-month probation)
- Salary: From JPY 4.5M+ (based on experience and skills; previous compensation considered)
- Benefits: Full social insurance, commuting allowance (up to JPY 30,000/month)
- Holidays: 2 days off per week (Sat/Sun), national holidays, paid leave
