Tokyo based Bespoke Inc. is building multilingual, AI-powered chatbots and other resources for travelers as well as for Japanese businesses that want to attract and support more overseas visitors to Japan.
Bespoke is looking for a high-performing Regional Sales Specialist to manage business channels and increase sales in the United States. As a Regional Sales Specialist, You will be responsible for maximizing our US-based sales team potential, identifying opportunities, crafting sales plans, and meeting client and revenue growth targets for the company. Responsibilities
- Design and implement sales strategies, plans and procedures
- Assist in meeting goals for performance and growth in the region
- Identify local business opportunities and challenges
- Identify client needs and work to optimize our relationships with them
- Present our services to prospective interested parties and clients
- Be a motivator for other team members
- Report on regional sales results
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Collaborate with other teams and regions to form a cohesive sales approach
Qualifications
- BA / BS / MBA degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience in a relevant sales position
- Extremely self-motivated with a proven track record in closing deals in brand new markets or geographies and ability to work independently with minimum direction from overseas HQ
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners
- Expressed interest (preferably experience) in the AI, SaaS, or hospitality fields
- Experience as a problem solver at heart with a genuine interest in learning by helping
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Strong knowledge of sales and productivity tools, including CRM, Salesforce, and Microsoft/Google Suites
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse and international team of people of different nationalities, backgrounds, and languages
